full time Junior Software Developer

Job Description:

As a member of the development team, the Developer will design, develop and support enterprise software applications, components and services. The Developer will provide programming expertise to clients and support team members, for the development of new applications and the maintenance of existing components. The Developer must be proficient in C# class design, programming, and debugging, in addition to SQL development. The Developer must be able to follow existing design guidelines and practices, and adopt and extend them as required. The Developer should be able to follow the process and procedures standards and guidelines definitions.

The Developer will perform the following:

Design and implement large scale, web-based, enterprise software applications using object oriented programming and design with UML, ASP.NET and C#
Data model design and implementation using Entity-Relationship Diagrams
SQL development
Software testing involving unit-testing, and systems integration and test
Analyze, coordinate and resolve defects
Participate in technical and status meetings
Follows established procedures for software change management
Required Skills:

Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and design
Good data modeling skills
Excellent C# programming knowledge
Familiarity with UML technology
Good knowledge of n-tier development
Must have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
Be team oriented and highly self motivated
Possesses a commitment to excellence
