Job/Duties/Deliverables:
Named one of Vancouver’s biggest companies, our rapidly growing client is currently seeking to fill the role of a JD Edwards consultant. You will join a team as a CNC consultant with travel estimated at 5%. In addition to your experience as a JDE CNC Consultant, you will have a talent for multi-tasking, experience as a team player, and have strong interpersonal / communication / presentation skills. AS part of a team, the JDE CNC Specialist will work primarily within the implementation practice.

You will be primarily responsible for the technical areas of JD Edwards for:

• CNC Administration
• Updates and Upgrades
• CNC troubleshooting
• New Implementations

• Troubleshooting and optimization

Your workload is diverse and includes:

• leading the technical aspect of upgrades and new implementations
• troubleshooting existing application and technical issues in a team environment for our long-term client base
• performing optimization studies and making recommendations from a JDE CNC perspective

• on-going support CNC advice for various clients

Our client also has a JD Edwards competency centre which allows you as a consultant simulate upgrades, perform evaluations and practice.

You are strong team player and looking for career and experience growth. Our client is committed to continuous learning and training via formal or job shadowing in other areas such as functional modules and project management.

Must Have:

• Senior CNC Experience (2 – 4 years)
• JD Edwards CNC Specialist: Installation of software, Software
• Upgrade, ESUs/ASUs, admin (OCMs, Data Dictionary, Security) (5- 7 years)
• Administering Citrix servers for JDE (2 – 4 years)
• Installation and upgrades of Websphere/OAS for JDE (2 – 4 years)

• Good Communication Skills (Mandatory)

Nice To Have:
-OneWorld Toolset (RDA, FDA, Business functions) with experience in:
o Report writing
o Interactive application development – Formscape programming – Data Conversions – Experience in more than one Operating System (examples are Unix, Windows 2000, iseries) – Working knowledge of business applications (examples are Financials, Distribution and Manufacturing)

Work Environment:

• Burnaby, travel 5%, training
