OMNEX is looking for a dynamic and talented Marketing Communications Specialist to develop and implement our overall corporate marketing communications and brand strategies. Working closely with our business units and our many OEM partners around the world, this position will translate emerging brand, corporate and product positioning into compelling marketing messages to further enhance our brand and the sale of OMNEX products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing plans that include print and online marketing collateral, PR, newsletters, ads, press releases, editorial, technical articles, case studies, brochures, etc
• Develop, execute and manage external website including site design, writing, editing and proofing content and navigational layout. Manage and implement SEO, PPC and other web optimization strategies and tools
• Develop, execute and maintain corporate branding strategies
• Coordinate and maintain business unit marketing plans (i.e. trade shows, seminars, etc)
• Create and facilitate specific lead generation campaigns
• Manage and maintain e-News by gathering content, writing, editing and publishing
• Maximize local, national and international free press by developing relationships with trade journalists, key editors and publications reps
• Set metrics and track the impact of OMNEX’s marketing initiatives including press releases, e-News, advertising, etc
• Perform ongoing corporate market research and analysis

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor degree in business, arts, communications or a related field
• Over five (5) years experience as a marketing communication specialist focusing on product and service marketing, corporate branding and copy and web writing

• Outstanding communication (written and oral) skills
• Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills
• Strong analytical skills in market research and the ability to gather input from technical and non-technical subject matter experts
• Strong collaboration skills
• Ability to shift from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Proactive, self motivated, results focused and requiring little supervision
