Job/Duties/Deliverables:
Our client is in need of a .Net Programmer to assist them on a high profile project. This will be a 4 month contract with a very good potential to renew. The .Net Programmer role will assist the client with Data Conversion, System Migration, and Database Development. The successful candidate will be developing driver programs in .Net which will integrate with Windows API’s to load and modify data. These programs will interface with a variety of systems, and therefore this person will be well versed in HL7. The right candidate must be able to quickly understand requirements and generate outputs quickly to support a rapid iterative development approach.

Must Have:

• Experience in software development (5- 7 years)
• Experience developing driver programs with C & C# (Mandatory)
• Experience using HL7 tools to create HL7 input files for data conversion purposes (Mandatory)
• Experience extracting, loading or modifying data for conversion purposes through SQL programming (SQL Server) or DTS (Mandatory)
• Experience with VB-script or similar scripting languages (Mandatory)

• Strong communication skills (Mandatory)

Nice To Have: – Direct data conversion and system migration experience. – HL7 integration engine code development. – Rational Robot experience.

Work Environment:

• Downtown Vancouver

• 37.5 hrs per week
