We are seeking experienced full time Technical Writers (3 years +) to work closely with other expert writers and engineers to develop hardcopy and online technical communication deliverables for hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Document the installation, configuration, use, and features of hardware and software on our Linux based IP Router platform over multiple release cycles.
• Apply a user-oriented, clear and concise writing style in US English with expert level grammar and spelling.
• Provide editing and possibly authoring services to other teams, such as product marketing.
• Communicate schedule and other project information to the managers and other members of the development team

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical Research skills (both laboratory and subject matter)
• Adobe FrameMaker 7.x.x/8.x.x (for the Windows OS) skills
• At least 3 years of professional technical writing experience in a high-tech industry
• At least 1 year of technical writing experience with computer networking products
• Appropriate degree relating to Technical Communication, Professional Writing, or Technical Writing
