Specialization: Analysis and Design

Job/Duties/Deliverables:
Our client is in need of an Intermediate Business Analyst for a 9+ month project with a good chance of renewal. The Business Analyst role may perform the following activities during the course of their contract:

1. Provide privacy related services to support system design, development, testing, implementation and integration with external partners;
2. Develop and update, as appropriate, the Privacy Impact Assessment for the system and relevant components;
3. Assist in the development of the project privacy structures, including PIA, policies and procedures, and related documents;
4. Identify, document, and address privacy risks as they arise through the lifecycle of system design, build, implementation, and integration with external partners;
5. Provide privacy advice to the project team and the service provider team as appropriate throughout the project lifecycle;
6. Provide privacy advice to external stakeholders as they interact with and integrate with the system;
7. Participate in working groups concerned with privacy and security as required by the privacy lead;
8. Develop and integrate the privacy plan with the project plan to ensure all deliverables are captured in the master project plan;
9. Reports to the privacy lead.

Must Have:

- Experience in Business Analysis roles (2-4 years)
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in Healthcare or related public sector setting (Mandatory)
- Experience with Information or Data Sharing agreements, Privacy impact assessment, access management in the Health Services Industry (Mandatory)
- Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication, including the ability to write high quality business documentation (Mandatory)
