full time Graphic Designer

at Club Penguin in Kelowna

Graphic Design for Club Penguin, such as layout creation, transferring information into layouts and various design production work. Some input into strategic communication design and design standards (internal and external).

Responsibilities:

* Weekly Newspaper (Club Penguin Times) * Stay up-to-date in the Club Penguin World * Contributions to Brand Guidelines * Various print projects (internal and External) * Misc. such as meetings and creating items when requested by other departments.

Qualifications:

* Minimum 2-year diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent * 3 years in print related design. Agency experience is an asset * Fluency in Indesign CS2, Photoshop and Illustrator * Good knowledge of Acrobat and basic knowledge of Flash will be an asset.

Skills and Abilities:

* Strong layout skills, both for advertising and publication design * Typographic competence * Well developed oral, written and interpersonal communication skills * Excellent visual problem solving abilities * Ability to work under tight deadlines * Able to ensure company standards of quality are maintained on every project
