Loki Systems Inc., located in Richmond BC, is a growing provider of software solutions to schedule, manage and pay staff in medium and large enterprises. Loki was selected by Microsoft to develop the Payroll module for Microsoft’s Dynamics AX (Axapta) global product line, which provides ERP solutions for medium and large organizations. Microsoft Dynamics AX competes with SAP and Oracle for functional depth. The Payroll module has been available since May 2006, providing highly configurable complex Payroll features. Currently, we are seeking a Senior Implementation Consultant to work primarily with the payroll software.

Senior Implementation Consultant

The Senior Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the successful deployment of our payroll system at strategic sites worldwide, involving tens of thousands of employees. The role requires working with the local Microsoft partner who is managing and implementing the project. The Senior Implementation Consultant will provide the partner team with guidance and assistance in analyzing customer needs, planning the project, determining implementation strategies according to best practices, identifying risks, and monitoring the project status.
The Senior Implementation Consultant will also coordinate with Loki training, support and development resources as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
The Senior Implementation Consultant must be able to develop strong working relationships with partner teams and Loki staff.
This position will involve travel one or two weeks per month.

Responsibilities:

- Act as the front-line contact with partner representatives on all issues for assigned implementations.
- Ensure the effectiveness of all implementation services and a high level of client satisfaction.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the customer's management and project teams.
- Conduct analysis, training and project review sessions.
- Manage project risks by anticipating deployment issues and provide immediate resolution or escalation where required.
- Work collaboratively with other internal departments to properly leverage resources to address customer needs.
- Provide pre-sales support for strategic customers as needed.
- Travel as required.
- Support the continual improvement of implementation training and practices
- Test software releases as assigned

Qualifications:

- Software implementation experience ( a minimum of five years)
- Payroll background, with a minimum of five years of experience
- University or college degree
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications as well as group dynamics skills
- Commitment to exceeding client expectations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information
- Ability to work independently
