full time Network/Help Desk Support

at Cascades Casino in Langley

Duties:
Network Support
1. Support, Monitor, Troubleshoot hardware and software issues pertaining to the Network.
2. Configure and Maintain Windows 2000 / 2003 Servers
3. Maintain Exchange 2003, SQL 2000 Servers
4. Setup, Configure and Maintain Windows 2000, XP Client Workstations.
5. Configure and Maintain PC, User and Group Security Policies.
6. Configure and Maintain Backups for Server and Client Workstations.
7. Configure and Maintain and Internet and email Connections.
8. Configure and Maintain Routing and Managed Switches.
9. Install Hardware devices, Software applications.
10. Compile and maintain an Inventory of PCs, Printers, and other systems related devices.

Help Desk Support
11. Provide support for users on all issues; Identify and resolve user and technical issues.
12. Respond to telephone calls, email requests for technical support.
13. Track and Monitor technical, user issues and requests to resolve them in a timely manor.
14. Act as a resource for employees and managers in all areas of Information Systems.

Application Support
15. Provide support for all Applications and Systems including, Point of Sale, Property Management Systems, Mitel Telephone System, Queueos Gaming Management, Accounting, Payroll, Scheduling.

Audio Video Support
16. Provide support and maintain all Audio and Video Applications and Systems.

Requirements:
1. Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Network Administration. MCSE Designation an asset.
2. Thorough knowledge of LAN/WAN Networking, User/Group Setup, LAN Security Setup.
3. Thorough knowledge of TCPIP Internetworking, Routing and Switch Management.
4. Thorough knowledge of PC Hardware; Installations, Repairs.
5. Thorough knowledge of 2000, XP, Microsoft Office 20032007.
6. 0 – 3 years experience and/or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
7. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
8. Ability to define problems collects data, plan and implement resolutions.
