PNI Digital Media/ PhotoChannel Networks, Inc. is seeking a graphic designer with strong print and web production skills. The right candidate will be capable of working quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines. Good organizational skills and attentions to detail are essential.

Position : Graphic Designer

Department : Creative

Overall Responsibility : Assist in-house designer with daily design tasks – design and maintenance of existing print products and corresponding GUI components for web/interactive applications.

Key Areas of Responsibility :
• Assist in-house designer with production and maintenance of print product materials for online photo retailers. Print products include calendars, photo books, photo cards, etc.
o Production and maintenance includes reformatting existing products to fit new print specs, production of new print product components from sample design comps
• Develop new product comp documents for internal/client review.
• Develop GUI elements (thumbnail previews, product shots, icons) for web and interactive applications pertaining to print products for online photo retailers.

Qualifications :
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and InDesign.
• Experience working with Adobe Flash, HTML and XML is a plus.
• Experience with designing for print as well as web/interactive.
• Candidate should have good organizational/communication skills to be able to interact with project managers, web, and database developers.
• Candidate should be able to take direction and design critique.
