Job Description:

A global user community organization headquartered in Burnaby, BC is looking for a Web Developer with 2+ years experience developing web applications using the latest tools and technologies such as ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#, JavaScript, DotNetNuke framework and Microsoft SQL Server. Using the DotNetNuke framework the ideal candidate has effectively built custom websites, built and implemented custom modules and designed skins for the DNN website. The successful applicant will also support unique membership management and security needs, help implement and maintain the website as well as the technology infrastructure. Experience working with hosting providers for deploying websites is desired.

Requirements
As the sole full-time IT developer, you would be part of a very dynamic team of individuals that manage the largest and most prominent global user community for SQL Server. Your job responsibilities will include: managing and integrating the current IT infrastructure, building and managing the new IT infrastructure on the DotNetNuke platform and participating through the entire project development lifecycle. You will work with volunteers and the organization’s board members as appropriate and necessary in the web development process. You will also be responsible for supporting the IT needs of the management team and will also lead the training initiatives to bring the team up to speed on how to use the new IT infrastructure. Part of your job responsibilities will be to drive new vision and new technology directions to ensure that we are constantly innovating in technology and staying current with important technology trends in social networking and media.

Compensation is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and is expected to be in the $60,000+ range.
