TWO positions available
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, keep up with fast-paced schedules, and learn new technologies quickly and effectively. Our client offers a generous remuneration and benefits package for the right individual.
Responsibilities:
• Participating in reviews of product stakeholder and software requirements and architectural documents.
• Compose software specifications
• Programming new products, new sub-systems, and enhancements to existing products.
• The ability to participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk assessments
• Supervise junior and coop students programmers

Ideal Experience and Skills Requirements:
• C++, ideally using the Standard Template Library

OR
• C# and the .NET 2.0 framework
• 4+ years experience in software development in a structured setting
• This is not a junior position, hence the selected candidate is expected to work with minimum supervision
• Good to excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ideally 2 or more years of real-time multi-threaded programming experience
• Strong SQL skills
Nice to Have:

• MS SQL-Server
• Experience with WLAN, Motorola / Mesh, and Radio Communications in general
Education:
• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering desired. A two-year technical diploma in a corresponding area will also be considered, if your experience profile is strong in other respects.
Other:
• Hours are somewhat flexible. Very Occasionally, some weekend or evening work will be required
