We are currently seeking Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Vancouver R&D team.
Location of Position: Burnaby, B.C.
Position Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Must have a keen interest in embedded software and wireless hand-held products.
• He/She will be responsible for developing wireless communication protocol stacks and embedded software for the next generation of Wireless public safety voice and data products.
• Thorough understanding of basic wireless communications, protocol stack structure and real-time operating systems.
• BSc, MASc, or PhD with 3-5 years experience in protocol stack and embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C and assembly is a must.
• Strong understanding of good software design techniques, methodologies and processes.
• Must have good knowledge of hardware and software interaction, interfaces etc.
• Good written and oral English language communication skills are essential.
• Independently motivated, sharp, enthusiastic and a team player and works hard to meet time schedules.
