Intermediate Project Manager
Position Mandate:

This position is responsible for coordinating and managing various assigned project activities in support of application and system development projects. The candidate will be involved in all phases of the project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, control, and closure. The successful candidate will also be required to conduct numerous tasks outside of traditional project management including business analyses, testing activities and client relationship management. The projects will be in support of both new product developments as well as enhancements to existing products which are sponsored either by internal or external customers.

Some of the key responsibilities are (but are not limited to):

•Planning and coordinating the implementation of small to medium-sized projects and change requests for both internal and external customers
•Contributing to the planning and implementation of large-sized projects
•Reviewing and contributing to analysis of system and process impact based on business requirements
•Gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements and leading team reviews
•Tracking customer inquiries and ensuring they are forwarded and action is taken by the appropriate team members
•Contributing to project estimating and budgeting
•Tracking project progress and providing status reporting; managing and mitigating risks to meet project timeline, budget and scope
•Documenting and coordinating testing activities
•Working on multiple projects and change requests at a time, and tracking associated communications
•Reviewing Service Level Agreements monthly results and performing trend analysis
•Reporting regularly to all key stakeholders including the Program Manager, Project Sponsor and Moneris PMO (where applicable)
•Ensuring that project details are considered and managed in adherence with the Moneris 5Gate Project Process.

Mandatory Qualifications:

•Three years of experience in coordinating software development projects
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project
•PMP certification is considered an asset
•Customer relationship or consulting experience is considered an asset
