We are currently looking for a Sr. Java Software Engineer (6 mos contract) to work at our offices in Richmond, BC.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for designing, writing, testing, and documenting programs to meet product specifications

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of XML (XSL, XPath, DOM) experience
• 5+ years of Java / J2EE experience
• 5+ years UI experience: JSP, Javascript, Servlet, JSF
• 5+ years of Oracle/SQL experience
• Architecture and Design experience
• Experience interfacing with multiple systems
• Extensive experience in software development life cycle, data modeling, data exchange and data load knowledge, as well as data migration analysis and data migration development
• Experience with developing test cases
• Works with minimal supervision with a good track record of meeting tight schedule commitments
• Experience with at least one version control system
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites as required

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical diploma
• Java certification is an asset
