Technology Commercialization Professional

Join an innovative development company and its technology commercialization team, expanding the Company’s Reducol™ business. Reducol™ is our proprietary heart healthy ingredient and can be found in the leading grocery retailers of Europe. Resourceful, creative and independent, you will champion the launch of novel foods internationally, particularly in the areas of non-dairy drinks, breads, fibers, dairy, fats & oils. Based in Vancouver, BC the Company may provide flexibility on an alternate Canadian based work location for the successful candidate.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist in process development with new and existing contract manufacturers for scale-up activities using internal and external resources.
• Coordinate and support a network of international sales agents and distributors.
• Work closely with in-house experts and contract manufacturers to find innovative technical solutions to product development, raw material, and equipment issues.

• Proactively establish new customers and agents to build upon our existing network.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A technical background (related science or engineering degree) with a minimum of 5 years plant experience in the food or ingredients industry.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and an interest in developing sales related skills.
• Knowledge of intellectual property related to food process and composition technology is an asset.

• Willingness to travel internationally is essential, second language is an asset.
