Here's what you'll need...

VERY STRONG ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS REQUIRED

Engagement: You will be working for a consulting company that services the IT outsourcing needs of high quality clients.

Opportunity: You will gain high demand IT Consulting experience while interacting with individuals from within several of Vancouver’s best companies.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and deploy new and interesting network solutions
• Monitor and maintain Windows 98, 2000, XP, and Server 2003 boxes
• Interact and support users from a variety of companies and environments
• Be comfortable communicating in plain language the concepts and ideas behind the systems you're implementing and supporting
• Monitor and maintain Virus Protection, Firewall, IDS, Security
• Responsible for installing and supporting Windows OS and third party applications and tools on local clients and servers
• Monitor and maintain capacity, storage, redundancy and backup planning

Qualifications:
• Recognized University or college degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years relevant corporate IT work experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work well with people at all levels within an organization
• Strong commitment to customer service
• Ability to work independently in a demanding fast-paced environment
• Commitment to adherence to quality processes
• Commitment to measurement and reporting on system performance metrics
