Senior Technical Architect

Our client in downtown Vancouver requires a Senior Technical Architect to join their team. Say goodbye to your long commute and hello to the walk to work.

This role requires a top Technical Architect capable in the following areas:
• Be an SME technical resource and advocate to the business, the development group, sales group, key stakeholders, and clients both internal and external
• Provide architecture expertise for all projects including evaluation, selection of technology, planning, designing, coding, and implementing the end solution
• Manage the people and time across multiple project initiatives
• Provide input and insight into scalability, capacity planning, optimization, and standards throughout the client environment
• Produce technical design documents, defend and promote those design documents
• Be a key source of Java knowledge for the client as well as doing some pre sales activity in tandem with product teams, marketing and sales teams
• Be able to solve technical issues in real time on a white board if required
• Key broader skills in design patterns, enterprise application integration, enterprise database modeling, proof of concept creation, and refactoring
• Design of complex multi faceted enterprise systems both on line and off
