JOB DESCRIPTION:

As an integral member of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team within the Business Support Application (BSA) group, the HR Application Support Analyst provides ongoing first level system support for SAP HR modules and Kronos and recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties. This position requires strong communication, customer service and problem solving abilities along with knowledge in both business processes and technical operations.

PRIMARY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Ongoing first level system support for Kronos and SAP PA, OM, Benefits, Time, Payroll and Recruitment modules.
2. Ongoing first level support for interfaces between Kronos, SAP and other corporate applications.
3. Resolves general customer problems concerning SAP and Kronos applications, functions and normal operating instructions.
4. Escalates problems within HRIS and other IT groups for resolution.
5. Preparing unit, integration and user acceptance testing scripts.
6. Execution of unit and integration testing scripts.
7. Assist a cross functional team in validating data and documentation.
8. Employ strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer service and process integration.
9. Provide end-user training.
10. Create ad-hoc reports using various reporting and query tools.
11. Working with system users to prioritize outstanding enhancement and support requests.
12. Basic structure set up and system configuration for SAP personnel management and organizational management modules.
13. Working with system users to ensure thorough and complete user acceptance testing in accordance with Intrawest’s production control processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
- Diploma or certificate in human resource management.
- Diploma or certificate in information technology will also be considered.

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 year in HR/Payroll related role or Information Systems role.
- Experience with Kronos and/or SAP HR modules would be a definite asset.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge:
- Strong computer skills
- Strong knowledge of human resource management and HRIS solutions

Skills/Abilities:

- Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in a complex and fast changing environment
- Self-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quickly
- Able to multi-task and concurrently manage multiple tasks
- Able to work independently
- Team oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent customer service skills
