Overview:
Our client is a team of industry veterans that has created an exciting, high-performance, intelligent electronic product in the quickly growing area of video analytics. They are looking for someone with a strong software development background to provide the technical interface with their customers.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for pre- and post-sales technical support including on-site technical presentations, customer training and product troubleshooting. You will be involved in on-site systems installation and configuration, as well as the design and implementation of training materials and product demonstrations. This role requires exceptional verbal and written communications skills as well as an energetic, positive personality combined with a good overall technical perspective and general knowledge.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electronics Engineering as well as 5 or more years in a software development role. You need to have excellent working knowledge of the Linux OS as well as prior programming or scripting experience. Previous experience with IP networking, video compression, transmission and processing would be very helpful as would previous experience with direct customer contact or experience in developing training programs.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
• Creating test plans upon reviewing requirements with development, marketing and other departments of the company.
• Reviewing existing documents to determine design and requirements specifications to determine testing requirements.
• Delegating tasks to other team members and monitoring progress and performance of such tasks.
• Conduct White box testing and code review.
• Developing (when appropriate, necessary and possible) software for test automation and software performance measurement.
• Regression testing of software changes.
• Maintain a performance test matrix for various system operations and track performance enhancement/degradation for major versions.

Qualifications:
• Must have excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Experience creating Test Plans and executing Test Cases
• Must have some prior in school, at home or work experience programming with scripting languages or C/C++.
• Experience gathering business/functional requirements and interpreting design documents.
• Experience using tools from (Agilent, Ixia, Spirent, etc )
• Experience with delegating tasks and monitoring performance of junior team members.
• Comfortable with statistics, calculus and math.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows.
• Knowledgeable about IP Networking, telecommunications, and wireless technologies.
• Demonstrated passion to learn and to apply new technologies.

Education:
